Becoming popular with local restaurants and tourists alike and through successful distribution in Northern Virginia, we have outgrown our production capability... 

 Mead is one of the oldest alcoholic beverages in the world. And while its typically categorized as a wine, it has characteristics that can appeal to beer or wine drinkers alike! 

 We began as a herb farm, growing culinary and medicinal herbs for the garden center trade. In the fall of 2012, we built our hops field.  After all, hops are the herbs that flavor beer. 

 Nestled in the Piedmont region of Virginia, east of the Blue Ridge Mountains and west of the fall line, sits Barrel Oak Winery. Home to Virginia’s “Most Family Friendly Winery in the World” – Wine Enthusiasts. 

 Established 2002 and reimagined 2020, we have set out to blur the lines between beer and wine. We are innovating and cultivating new fermentation styles and having a lot of fun along the way. 

 Our bucolic Brewery is nestled in the quaint community of Haymarket, VA. Relax in our 6 acre meticulously landscaped beer garden or Brewbarn, just minutes from I66.
